The
Upper Darby Township Fire Department has the responsibility
of protecting a population which numbers approximately 81,177
residents within a large municipality of approximately seven
point six two (7.62) square miles.
The
Upper Darby Township Fire Department consists of five (5)
stations, the Garrettford Drexel Hill Fire Company, organized
on March 12, 1908, the Highland Park Fire Company organized
November 29, 1911, the Upper Darby Fire Company organized
in 1916, the Cardington-Stonehurst Fire Company on January
16, 1916 and the Primos Secane Westbrook Park Fire Company
organized in 1955.

many residents of Upper Darby Township to practice fire safety

Emergencies |
Dial
9-1-1 immediately for ALL fire,
police, and medical emergencies. All fire, police, and
medical services are dispatched from the 9-1-1 center,
even routine or non-emergency matters. Always dial 9-1-1
for the fastest response no matter the reason why the fire,
police, or medical services are needed. |
